After two energising days in the Dutch capital, Offshore Energy 2025 has officially wrapped up, and the Marfle team is back in wintry Helsinki. You know what that means: time for a recap. This year’s edition delivered powerful insights into where offshore energy is heading, what the industry values today, and how digitalisation is becoming indispensable across the sector.
What Makes OEEC 2025 a Must-Attend
The Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) 2025 was held on 25–26 November at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre. As Europe’s leading annual event for the offshore energy and maritime industries, OEEC has brought together decision-makers across offshore wind, marine energy, oil & gas, hydrogen, and clean-energy sectors for over 16 years, helping drive innovation, collaboration, and new business on a global scale.
This year’s edition was one of the largest to date, featuring:
- 500+ exhibitors
- 8,000+ visitors from around the world
- 80+ speakers delivering over 55 hours of industry content
Under the unifying theme “Harmony”, the event emphasised the need to align technology, sustainability, and cooperation to accelerate the offshore-energy transition.
The conference began with a keynote speech by Aukje de Vries, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Aid, who set the tone with a powerful message about protecting the North Sea. She emphasized its increasing significance not only as the foundation of European offshore wind energy but also as a vital part of Europe’s overall energy security. Her remarks highlighted the importance of collaboration among governments, industry leaders, and technology providers to build a resilient and sustainable offshore future.
For Marfle, this message reinforced the urgency and importance of data-driven fleet monitoring and analytics. Offshore operators increasingly need tools that offer transparency, operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, and robust crew-welfare insights, especially in such a demanding sector.
Marfle’s Presence at OEEC 2025
What We Presented
Throughout conversations, demos, and meetings, we demonstrated how Marfle supports offshore-service operations by enabling teams to:
- Combine real-time and historical analytics to improve vessel performance and predict operational risks
- Monitor vibration and vessel motion to support crew comfort, compliance, and long-term asset health
- Optimise fuel consumption and reduce emissions, especially for OSVs, CTVs, and offshore-wind support vessels
- Increase operational predictability and safety in harsh offshore environments
These topics resonated strongly with offshore operators, particularly due to rising regulatory pressure, tighter efficiency targets, and increasing expectations from energy clients.
Our Business Development Manager, Farooq Al-Obaidi, shared that:
“Prospects showed clear interest in Marfle’s system and how it could support their operations, which resulted in multiple requests for further discussions.”
One highlight of the event was reconnecting with Edwin Roskam, Fleet Manager at Braveheart Marine, where we had a highly productive conversation about their operational challenges and future ambitions. Naturally, we captured the moment with a photo. Meetings like this reaffirm how closely Marfle’s solution aligns with real operational needs, and how flexibly it scales as fleets grow and requirements evolve.

What’s next for Marfle?
Farooq returned from Offshore Energy 2025 energised by the conversations, insights, and opportunities, and one thing is clear: we’ll be back next year with even more innovation to share.
As we wrap up the year, the Marfle team is focused on closing ongoing projects, reviewing our 2025 results, planning our 2026 exhibition schedule, and, most importantly, shaping an exciting product roadmap for the year ahead. Our goal remains the same: to continue pushing the boundaries of smarter, safer, and more sustainable fleet operations.
If you didn’t get the chance to meet us at OEEC, or if you’d like a personalised demo of Marfle in an offshore-energy context, we’re here to help. We’d be delighted to show you how Marfle Fleet Analytics can elevate your offshore operations.
That’s all from us for now — until next time! 👋
